Molecular orbital theory. Based on Chapter 3 of the course text. The working assumption here is that you remember enough of 1311 and PChem to be fully conversant with orbitals in atoms and general periodic trends in things like electrongetativity and atom size. If your recollection is very vague or you have never taken these courses please read Chapter 1 of the course text ASAP.
