Does anyone know of any software available capable of converting Finnigan format data ( .ms files) into HP format (.d files)? ****************************************************************************** From: "David Sparkman" Date: Thu, 21 Sep 2000 15:24:23 -0700 Subject: Re: data file conversion Organization: CompuServe Interactive Services Rich, ChemSW (http://www.chemsw.com) has a program named GC GC/MS File Translator (< $400) that will do this. You can get a program from Palisade call MassTransit for about a K buck that will also do the job. Regards; O. Yes its free. GCQ2HP is for those people who used the IonTrap and got (some) trouble with the support (not the software) and where hangig between an old program and the unfinished MassFrontier (cool tool). Sorry for my 10 cents. If you have only Incos 50/500, TSQ 70/700 go for the other programs suggested on the bottom of the GCQ2HP page. Or again, use AMDIS (can also read *.ms). http://wwwstud.rz.uni-leipzig.de/~che94beq/amdis.htm With kind regards Tobias Kind PS: Why do YOU wanna convert Finnigan files today ? Think you are heretical :-) ****************************************************************************** From: "Wouter Cardoen" Date: Thu, 28 Sep 2000 21:23:14 GMT Subject: Re: data file conversion Organization: Chello Usenet Service does your software not have the possibility to convert your files to AIA format ? The AIA format is a universal format that can be used by HP chemstation and I know that HP chemstation has the option to export .d files to AIA format. I use this for converting .raw files (Xcalibur,Thermoquest format). once converted in AIA format I can use them in HP chemstation (and vice versa)
