Is there a software to perform the format change Thanks De Pauw Edwin ****************************************************************************** From: Koen van der Drift Date: Tue, 25 Jul 2000 09:18:12 -0500 Subject: Re: file format Organization: Washington University in St. Louis Hi, We do the following: View the data in Excalibur as 'Spectrum list', and then copy the cell into an (Excel) spreadsheet. Save the spreadsheet as a tab-delimited file. Now you can open this file with the MassLynx DataBridge program, and convert it to a MassLynx file. Its a little bit elaborate, but it works, hope this helps, - Koen. -- Koen van der Drift Mass Spectrometry Resource Washington University, St. Louis, MO http://www.artsci.wustl.edu/~kvanderd/ ****************************************************************************** From: "Gavin" Date: Thu, 27 Jul 2000 11:31:31 -0400 Subject: Re: file format @ www.acdlabs.com Organization: UUNET Canada News Reader Service Dear Koen, Advanced Chemistry Development's MS Manager software http://www.acdlabs.com/products/spec_lab/exp_spectra/ms/ allows the direct import of Finnigan LCQ format files, and provides tools for advanced processing, and databasing of your data. Export options are available in multiple formats including which may be imported into Masslynx. Masslynx data may also be directly imported into MS Manager, as well many other common formats. The latest version of Masslynx (v.3.5) now provides a button to directly transfer mass spectra back to ACD/MS Manager. Please see our web site for more information. It should be available on the Xcalibur home page under Tools (otherwise in the xcalibur\system\programs directory on your HD). You can convert .raw to ANDI (aka netCDF). Then use the MassLynx Databridge program to convert the .cdf file to MassLynx .raw. Good luck.
