Course Objective
The course offers an introduction to key principles of modern inorganic chemistry with strong emphasis on atomic and molecular structure as well as descriptive chemistry of the elements. Special selected topics cover solid state structure of ionic and metallic compounds, acid and base chemistry, introduction to transition metal chemistry, and bioinorganic chemistry.
