The Boss:
Ashlee St. John: Ashlee earned her
Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from Georgia Tech in Dr. Andrew Lyon's
group where she studied colloidal assembly. She received a B.A. in
Chemistry from the New College of Florida. In the Payne Lab, she will
be tracking single particles in live cells.
William H.
Humphries IV: Chip received a
B.S.
in Chemistry and a B.M. in Music Performance from
Melinda Ogden: Mindi graduated
from Michigan State University with a B.S. in Chemistry. Mindi is
interested in developing new two-photon techniques for live cell
imaging.
Amy Jablonski: Amy attended the
University of Alabama-Birmingham and recieved a B.S. in Chemistry.
Amy's research focus is using quantum dots for imaging intracellular
transport.
Jesse Haulk (undergraduate, 4/08 to
8/08): Jesse was in the
Payne lab for his junior
year as a Chemistry student at GaTech. He wrote Matlab software
for single particle
tracking.
Nicole Fay (undergraduate, 3/07 to
5/08): Nicole was a Biology
and Biochemistry
student at GaTech. Nicole is currently pursuing her
Ph.D.
at the University of California, Berkeley.
Jenna
Tomlinson (REU, Summer '08): Jenna is a Cell/Molecular Biology student
at Grand Valley State University. As an REU student, Jenna created a
stably transfected cell line.
